- The President of the Republic of Ghana His Exerllency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has hinted that the 1 District 1 Factory initiative is real and it has come to stay.
This according to Mr. President , although some District have not gotten their complete share of the factories but can attest to the fact that most District across the country are benefiting from the 1D1F.
The President made this known to Angel news reporter Opanyin Darko during his two day tour in the Central Region yesterday.
His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo during his tour commissioned a T- Roll factory at Lesdy company limited at Gomoa Buduburam and inspected Rikpat lubricant factory in Akoti in the Gomoa East District.
He further noted that, initially, some people thought the above mentioned flagship program was 419 but it’s real and visible adding that, He will do all within his power and support all 1D 1F in the country.
Moreover, the Director of Lesdy Company limited, Dr. Eric Darko told Angel News that the company has given massive employment to Ghanaians and appealed to Ghanaians to patronize made in Ghana goods.
Finally, Angel news spoke with the Managing Director of Rikpat company limited the producers of Sea Horse lubricant in Gomoa Akoti Dr. Joojo Benyin stated that, the factory is set to employ over 200 direct workers and 800 indirect workers which he said will drastically reduce the High rate of unemployment in Ghana.
