Today, 24th October, 2021, The people of Akosua Village has celebrated the Deputy Majority Leader and Member of parliament of Effutu constituency in the Central Region for his massive development in the villiage.
Akosua village is a village of a population of about 700 indigence, its a fishing community in the south eastern part of the Winnaba.
The village, prior to 2016 election can only boost for nothing not even a facility of convince. but now they can count for a road, Library, Hospital, School, Community Centre, a founting , ultra modern place of convince etc, and the bigger project the Ecowas village all in the Akosua village of Winneba.
Today they (the people of Akosua Village) organized a durbar at the Just commissioned Community Center to thank Hon.Alexander Markin for the massive development, which has now change the village name into akosua city.
In attendance was the M.C.E. of Effutu Municipal, Hon. Alhaji Kassi Zubiru, The PM of the Municipal, Hon. Kwesi Ayi Acquah.
