The member of Parliament for Effutu constituency, Alexander Kwamena Afenyo Markin has made a cash donations totaling about
Ghc 500,000,to some identifiable groups in Winneba.
The member of Parliament who doubles as the deputy majority leader in Parliament made the donationd to these groups to support their preparations towards the celebration of this year’s Aboakyer Festival.
The groups are, Dentsifo Asafo group, 75,000, 75,000 to the Tuafo group and 20,000 to the Dentsifo youth.
The rest are 20,000 to the Tuafo youth,
Fishermen (Apofofo) 20,000, whilst traditional priests recieved 47,000. Other groups recieved undisclosed amounts, whilst the traditional council were giving 50,000.
Making the presentation on behalf of the MP, the former Chairman of the party in the Effutu Constituency, Mr. Kojo Halm, called on chiefs and people, and the various factions in the Municipality to throw away their differences and stay united for a common goal for national development.
