Taxi Driver Arrested for Defiling a 13 Year Old
A 45 year old Taxi Driver, popularly called ‘No Jesus’ has been arrested by the Winneba District Police for allegedly defiling a 13 year old girl.
Report available to Osimpam fm news, Raymond Kwofie indicates that the victim’s name withheld, is a friend to a young girl friend of the driver who shuttles between Winneba and Senya Breku.
In an interview with eyewitnesses, the driver two weeks ago sent the victim in the company of another friend to call the girlfriend for him, but upon getting to her friends house, she declined to respond to the call of the suspect with the excuse that she’s no longer interested in the relationship, hence gave her phone to the friend to return it to the taxi driver boy friend.
According to eyewitnesses, the victim in an attempt to deliver the phone, and feedback from her friend to the taxi driver in his house at ‘Girls Ase’ Kokobem, a suburb in winneba, the driver invited them in with the excuse of sending the victim to buy him spaghetti.
Narrating her ordeal, the victim who’s currently on admission at the Effutu Municipal Hospital, collaborated the testimonies of the eyewitnesses, adding that the taxi drive, “No Jesus,” locked her inside his room, drove her colleague away, come back to tie her legs,hands and mouth and forcefully had sex with her and later threatened her not to disclose it to anybody.
Speaking to Osimpam news on her hospital bed, very weak looking victim complained of serious Vagina and Abdominal pains as a result of what happened to her.
Father of the victim, Mr. Emmanuel Amissah, who confirmed the news to Osimpam new’s Raymond Kwofie, indicated that neighbors yesterday called him home as he was out of Winneba due to his work and that of the wife, to break the news to him.
According to him the driver was no where to be found two weeks after the incident, hence a tenant called him for a chatter. He was then arrested when he showed up and handed him over to the Winneba District police.
A visit by Osimpam news team to the police station indeed confirmed that suspect, ‘No Jesus’ is in police sells, whilst police awaits Doctor’s report to commence investigations.
