Three persons have been confirmed dead with scores injured in two separate accidents at Assin Fosu in the Central region of Ghana. The two separate accidents happened at Assin Asempanaye in the Assin Fosu Municipal and Assin North District respectively.

The first accident involves a private Isuzu pickup with registration number WR-456-W. it had loaded 14 passengers heading toward the direction of Assin Juaso from Cape Coast. information indicates that the driver was overspeeding and in an attempt to overtake a vehicle lost control and hit a metal guard mounted on the side of the road. It somersaulted in the process
Twelve other male victims who are said to be masons and labourers also sustained various degrees of injuries and were rushed to the intensive care unit of the St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu.

those with severe injuries have since been transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi for medical attention. two persons were confirmed dead in the process. Their names have since been given as Yalley and Kwame.
Police upon hearing the news swiftly moved to the scene to ensure the road is cleared to enable traffic flow and further visited the victims at the hospital to ascertain first-hand information from the survivors.
