Deputy Majority Leader in Parliament, Alexander AFenyo-Markins says external factors, such as freight charges, are responsible for the recent hikes in the prices of building materials in Ghana.
He insists that the rising costs of building materials cannot be blamed on the imposition of levies and taxes as has been suggested by the minority caucus in parliament.
