Favoritism is killing music in the central region- Goddy Wan.
The new talented version of rap music Goddy Wan whose real name is Godfred Dadziek popularly known in showbiz circles as “Hip pop priest’’ is, from a town called Breman Asikuma in the central region of Ghana.
The artist who doubles as an entrepreneur is the CEO of ‘Everything Nice Family music label’. Goddy Wan is highly versatile but chose to do rap music (Hip pop precisely).
The artist in 2021 bag 4 nominations in the Central music awards.
The artist has several songs to his credit and an album “the golden album’’ the album depicts the positive things, in general, to renew the minds of black society and also engulfment of basic life handles and explanation of why Goddy wan is known as the hip pop priest.

Speaking on central region No.1 music countdown show HITLIST A-Z hosted by Nay Willz every Friday on osimpamfm95.5 the musician/entrepreneur emphatically said “I write deep from my heart and I talk about things in the society, music has been a therapy to me’’.
Accessing music in the Central Region, Goddy Wan has a strong opinion that if people in the entertainment circles can desist from the behavior of favoritism he believes music in the region will go far if they support the right people who are doing good music and things right. ‘If you are not people’s favorite they don’t give you the attention or support you need no matter how good you are doing’’ he added.

The musician asserted that the region is blessed with many talents and believed if the opportunity, support, and recognition are given to the right people they can match up to the A-list musicians in Ghana.
