Ghanaian gospel musician/businesswoman Piesie Esther known in real life as Mrs. Esther Asiedu is an inspirational singer who through her ministry had traveled around the world and won many awards.

The gospel musician over the years has released several hit song like soma ogya, Empareme, Okurasini Moburonni, Odimafo, Kraman Funu among others. Her second album Me Nti Asie was one of her best records which earn her nominations for the Gospel Artiste of the Year and Gospel Song of the Year categories at the 2009 Ghana Music Awards.
Gospel musician, Piesie Esther, has expressed her disappointment with organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) for failing to nominate her song ‘Wobedi Adanseɛ’ in this year’s awards. She says although the song has garnered the attention of gospel music lovers and industry players since its release in 2021, the VGMA Board decided to put it up for competition.

Speaking to Roselyn Felli on Prime Morning, Monday, the ‘Me Nti Ase’ hitmaker underscored that the song deserved a nomination because “the message, the lyrics, the video and everything was on point.” which deserved to be nominated for the awards.
She admitted that she does good songs which never fades and believe her song has done better than some of the nominated ones and merited a chance. The musician edge the organizers to do their research well in putting up/together all nominations because most musicians are really doing well and need to be recognized.
