    John Ampontuah Kumah cut a sod for phase 1 of the Ejisu Sports Infrastructure Project

    Deputy minster for finance and Member of Parliament of Ejusu Constituency, John Ampontuah Kumah has cut a sod for work to start on phase 1 of the Ejisu Sports Infrastructure Project.

    The project consist of 5 astroturf modern FIFA standard football pitches, 2 basketball ball courts, 1 handball pitch and 2 volleyball pitches across 5 areas in the Ejisu Constituency.

    In the upcoming week , the member of parliament is also expected to cutweek he will cut sod for work to start on an extra 5 FIFA size football pitches in 5 different locations making it 10 for this year .

    The vision is to ensure that in the next four years, every community in Ejisu will have a standard FIFA sized green football pitch for sporting activities.

    Sports development is one of the key job creation opportunity government is exploring.

    As Member of Parliament (MP), ”I have seen the talent that we can develop from the Ejisu Constituency and I am keen on supporting the constituency” he said.
