    Kasoa: Ministry of Fishery and Aquaculture Donates to Ghana Police Service

    As part of the plans to combat crime and improve security within the Awutu Senya East Constituency and it’s environs, The member of parliament of that constituency, Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson, has donated a 4×4 Toyota pickup and a Motorbike to the Ghana Police Service, Kasoa Police District Command on Monday, October 25, 2021.

    The MP, who doubles as the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development (MoFAD), indicated that the gesture was part of measures to assist the Police in the Constituency deal with security challenges in the area.

    Additionally, the MP mentioned, she is currently installing over ten thousand (10,000) Street lights across all the electoral areas. “Operation Let There Be Light”.

    The Regional Second-In-Command (2 I/c) expressed his gratitude on behalf of the District Police Command, to Hon. Hawa Koomson for her timely intervention and contributions to the efforts of the Ghana Police Service.

    In attendance were, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly, Hon. Anita Love Obo Amissah, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Coastal Development Authority Hon. Emmanuel Anim Affram, Senior Police Officers, Chiefs, Party Executives and other high profiled dignitories.
