The Directorate has lead a technical processes for the development and coordinating of policies, plans, programmes and budgets of all activities of the ministry.
It will caters for the design and application of monitoring and evaluation systems for purpose of assessing the operational effectiveness of the Ministry’s strategies and interventions.
Below are the units and their responsibilities in operations under the PPBMED of MoFAD.
Policy Coordination Unit
Responsible for the initiation and coordinating of all policies, projects and programmes of the sector Ministry and its agencies.
The unit assists the ministry in the preparation of technical and policy advice and I organizing and coordinating planning and programming.
It also works to maintain liaison with other units of the Organization and other Organizations to ensure consideration of issues within the ministry’s fields.
Planning and Budgeting Unit
The unit is to lead in the design and provision of plans based on a sound framework for the effective implementation of the Ministry’s planned programmes, projects and activities.
