An update coming from Takoradi Circuit Court A indicates that Joana Krah a 29 year old lady who allegedly faked a kidnap and demanded a randsom of 5000 Ghana cedis as said by the press from the Ghana Police Service is that;
She is to serve a six(6) year jail term presided by Justice Michael k. Ampadu.
Background
The Takoradi Divisional Police Command has arrested three suspects, Joana Krah, aged 29; Susana Awortwe, aged 27 and Francis Eshun, aged 27 for allegedly faking a kidnap and demanding a ransom of Five-Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 5,000.00).
reports indicates that the suspects Joana Krah conspire with the other two suspect Susan Awortwe and Francis Eshun, to feign kidnapping on friday, october 22,2021, after which placed to her adopted father in demand for the ransom.
When Joana became aware that her adopted father had reported father had report to the police and an extensive search had commenced to find her showed up at the Takoradi Central Police Station, Saturday 23, to confess of only Joking with her adopted father that she was kidnapped.
