A youngman Raymond Agbobah who is 36years and a mason is suspected to have poured acid on his girlfriend.
This sad incident occurred on the 24th of April, 2023 at Tema Community 25.
Speaking to Nana Akosua Oparebea on Osimpam 95.5 fm , Stephen Afasi the brother of the victim stated that
Raymond Agbobah and his sister has been dating for about 4years and the victim, Faustina Afasi (his sister) demanded customary rites to be performed so they live officially as husband and wife.
All efforts proved futile for them to get engaged and make the relationship official, so the victim (his sister) decided to move out until customary rites have been performed, as a result of that Raymond Agbobah suspected she is moving out with another man, and ambushed her and poured the acid all over her body.
Currently Faustina Afasi the victim is at korle- bu Teaching Hospital ICU (INTENSIVE CARE UNIT) battling for her life.
The family pleads with stakeholders to help them with medical bills so she can survive and come back home.
Currently the suspect Raymond Agbobah is on the run
