    Two cops + a civilian had been roped into a gang’s hideout at Borteyman, Ashaiman -DCOP Kwesi Ofori (Ghana Police Service) 

    Recounting to the current investigation into the dead of a police officer who was killed in a robber attack is still ongoing yesterday they issued a statement and has promise to bring the people involved to book.

    An unidentified individual alleged to be from the Ghana Police Service describes robberies on bullion vehicles around the nation. Unknown gunmen shot Constable Emmanuel Osei in the head in James Town, an Accra neighborhood, a few months ago.

    If you’re also confused about how two rogue cops, recently arrestedy and supposed to be in custody, for their involvement in robberies ended up being killed in a shootout, as per the Ghana Police Service statement.

    The explanation is that, the two cops had been roped into a raid of the gang’s hideout at Borteyman, near Ashaiman where four other rogue cops and a civilian were arrested. So the two, more or less, led the police to the hideout. That’s according to DCOP Kwesi Ofori on #JoySMS.
