Teachers and Pupils of the Effutu Municipality have expressed appreciation to their Member of Parliament, Alexander Afenyo Markin for the honour done them at the 2022,2023 Best Teacher Awards Ceremony in Winneba.
In an exclusive interview with Kofi Nkoom on Osimpam fm’s Morning Show, “Ghana Ntsi,” four of the teachers, Rhoda Howard Aidoo, Kofi Akanyi, Biriwa Bediako, and Joseph Gampie were elated for the recognition which has put them on international platforms.
According to Mr. Akanyi, teaching french to some Ghanaian students is sometimes difficult, but he makes effort to come to their level of understanding to make an impact.
He said it is only by commitment and dedication can a teacher succeed.
On her part, Madam Rhoda Aidoo, observed that it is only by hard work can one succeed, adding, that has been her motivation. She thanked God that her service had paid off.
According to Mr. Joseph Gampie, he was attacked by a parent of one of his students whom he described as lazy. She experience made him nearly quiet teaching.
