Thorsten Owusu Gyimah popularly known for his craft as Yaw Tog is a Ghanaian rapper who majors in drill music known in Ghana as Asakaa. He is best known for his viral song ‘Sore’ which featured O`Kenneth, City Boy, Reggie & Jay bahd and also Kwesi Arthur and Stormzy on the remix. He is a past student of Opoku Ware Senior High School who wrote his final WASSCE paper on 7 October 2021.
The artist on the come up has feature on several songs and toped several music charts, he has been short listed to perform in this year Ghana to the world the new era concert in New York. The event is schedelled to take place on 23rd October, 2021 he wrote in a Facebook post.
He has been nominated for several awards and won 2 awards thus Hiphop Song of the Year with his single ”sore” at 3Music Awards (2021), Best Hip-Pop Song of the Year at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA21) with the same song ”sore” and has one album to his credit.
